SCHOOL OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT IN REGIONAL CUISINE
Randhanshala has been conceived by Bhojohori Manna as a platform to impart regional culinary skills to young students, irrespective of their background. The objective of the school is to train boys and girls in the field of preparation of regional food, understanding restaurant management procedures and developing interpersonal and hospitality skills. With a faculty comprising domain experts, practical training will be the focus at this newly developed facility. Career counselling and placement assistance will also be provided.
The course is aimed to produce cadres of skilled individuals prepared for a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Huge employment opportunities have emerged in the hospitality and service sector across India.
This school is supported by the Ministry of Skill Development, Government of West Bengal. Technical assistance is provided by Bhojohori Manna, which has pioneered home-style Bengali cuisine and carved out a space in the culinary industry by incorporating youth from semi-urban and rural areas over the past fifteen years.
